Hockey Pickup & Juggle Guide — 4 levels, 30+ drills, and a points system to keep it fun and competitive.
Reset progress
This is all about fun — but it translates to more confidence with the puck. Juggling trains wrist movements, stick control, focus, and concentration. Focus is the ability to direct your mental spotlight on a specific task; concentration is your capacity to sustain that attention over time.
Every drill has Gold (1000), Silver (500), Bronze (100), or Try (10) tiers. Record your best result on each drill to bank your points.
Level 1 starts where all control starts — hand-eye coordination with a tennis ball. Master this before moving to puck work.
Juggling builds the wrist mobility and blade awareness that every advanced puck move depends on. Don't skip the tennis ball work.
Garage pickups and puck juggles in Level 2 build soft hands and the blade feel that makes all your other moves sharper.
Each drill card includes a video demonstration. Please Subscribe to One Time Hockey on YouTube.
Level 4 requires additional equipment (shooting tiles or board). I'm using a 2'x 4' dry erase board with WD-40 to keep it slick.
